How To Organize Your Laundry Room

If you want to keep your laundry room organized once and for all, you can follow my tips that will help you minimize the mess. So, lets get started:

TIP #1 : Take EVERYTHING out and then find a place for everything so everything will stay in its place.

TIP #2 : It is predictable that dirty clothes will just keep coming daily and this ia fact that you can't change, but you can avoid the huge piles of clothes by having three laundry baskets. Assign one for lights, one for darks, and another one for towels.

TIP #3 :Have a bag for clothes that need to be repaired and another one for dry clean. This will save you time and then you can just grab & go.

TIP #4: Create a space for storing sewing tools, like scissors, needles,  and thread, in case your clothes need a quick fix. It could be organized in a drawer or in a tool box.

TIP #5 : Get uniform hangers.

TIP #6 : If the laundry room also serves as your utility room, then probably you have limited space. Therefore, remember to discard items you never use and don't overstock on cleaning supplies. Downsizing is an important concept to understand if you want to stay organized.

TIP #7: If your laundry room has no shelves, then, you can add a couple or get an over-the-door shoe rack to store your bottles. If you do have shelves, then consider investing in bins, baskets, or even magazine holders for bottle organization.

TIP 8: Remember to keep items "like" together,

TIP 9: Hang the utility tools on the wall, but keep in mind to choose a sturdy bar or a pegboard with hooks.

TIP 10: If you want to get fancy, you can always add wall paper and some flowers, but most importantly, don't forget to label everything to keep the organization going.
